December to April--crawling to cruising (6 - 10 months)

This is the second part of the update. Much has happened in the last few months. Olivia learned to stand on her own only a week after learning to crawl at 6 1/2 months. Now at 10 1/2 months she is on the brink of walking. Just yesterday she started to take several steps while hanging on with only one hand. She now has 6 teeth, which she loves to use on everything, especially chicken. And our legs. Yikes. In the past week she has developed a love affair with books. She has a favorite, which she will go to and communicate the wish for us to read it. She sits very still while being read to and fusses when it is over. She even helps to turn the pages when we ask her to. She has a repertoire of several words now, including Mama, Papa, Papaw, Dog, Woof, Duck, Tata, Nana and Boo. Sometimes she combines dog and woof---doof is a favorite word. Enjoy the pictures below.
